A cross-border microfinance forum will be held on March 3 in Sfax

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax (CCIS) is organising, on March 3, in Sfax, the 2nd cross-border microfinance forum, with the aim of developing a common strategy around a Mediterranean microfinance program, based on instruments and support services for new and innovative businesses.

This forum is part of the project [email protected] financed by the European program ENI CBC Med, which aims to facilitate access to financing for young entrepreneurs; can we read on the CCIS website which is a partner of this cross-border cooperation program in the Mediterranean basin

The project [email protected] has organized local meetings over the last few months with the aim of involving the different actors and discussing the main issues related to the support of the unbankable. The objective is to create a transnational network of microfinance actors.

Launched in 2019, the microfinance support project for Mediterranean startups “ [email protected] », the cost of which amounts to 2.8 million euros, targets 5 countries including Tunisia, Italy, Lebanon, Greece and Palestine. It aims to help young Mediterranean entrepreneurs to access financing, particularly those who cannot benefit from a bank loan.
