Songon- La Platforme de Service (PFS) Yopougon has provided funding for 13 income-generating activities worth three million CFA francs, under a memorandum of understanding with the microfinance company CELPAID.
The ceremony to hand over funds to young people took place on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Abobo, in the presence of the agency manager, Mariam Sanogo and the coordinator of the PFS-Yopougon, Pierre Claver Zilé Kouassi, reports an information note. transmitted to the AIP.
Mariam Sanogo, invited the beneficiaries to use these funds wisely, which will enable them to carry out their projects with a view to their financial empowerment.
As for the coordinator of the PFS Yopougon, Pierre Claver Zilé Kouassi, he thanked microfinance for this collaboration which began in 2020 and continues to bear fruit.
“We are counting on you to manage your activities well and repay these loans in order to allow other young people to benefit in turn from financing”, he advised the beneficiaries of the funds.
In return, they expressed their gratitude to the PFS Yopougon for its support and training.
The financing of these income-generating activities will create 20 jobs, including thirteen direct jobs and seven indirect jobs in the areas of trade, services, livestock and crafts, we learned.
