This incubation program will take place over three months and will be held every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the headquarters of the AWI Foundation, located at the Riviera Golf.
According to the Foundation’s coordinator, Arnaud Boni, the “AWI Talents” program will consist of training and upgrading women entrepreneurs in small agro-processing. This, in order to give them the means to increase the visibility of their companies.
This program also aims to develop a network of mentors and business partners for women, and especially to allow women to access resources to finance their activities.
Fifteen (15) women constitute the first cohort of the incubation program. During the training, they will be accompanied by mentors who have proven themselves in the field of agro-processing.
The first training session effectively began on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the premises of the AWI Foundation.
The beneficiaries of the “AWI Talents” program were presented during this ceremony.

We are here to help you review your relationship with digital andmake the most of it, to promote your business. Knowing your market and your customers is important. The President of the Board of Directors of the AWI Foundation, Mariam Fadiga Fofana thanked the support structures, the technical and financial partners, the trainers, the mentors, the assistance for having honored with their presence at this ceremony. She invited the beneficiaries to seize the opportunity offered to them.
“We take this opportunity to appeal to microfinance institutions, banks, donors, as well as sub-regional and international organizations so that they can support the AWI Talents program.“, she said.
A call for applications was launched from May 19 to June 6, 2022 in order to profile the beneficiaries of the program.
On the sidelines of this activity, the winners of the Awi Boost prize for the months of March, April and May each received their prize of 100,000 CFA francs.
