The CMEC of Bondoukou achieves a surplus of more than 16 million FCFA for the 2021 financial year

Bondoukou, The President of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Mutual Savings and Credit Fund (CMEC) of Bondoukou, Ms. Korotoum Ouattara, welcomed the achievement of a financial surplus of 16,867,071 FCFA under the fiscal year 2021, during the 23rd general assembly which took place on Saturday May 21, 2022, at the town hall.

In front of the heads of cooperatives, associations and various trades, the PCA of this institution affirmed its commitment to work to strengthen the achievements. “You show how much you remain mobilized for our common good. We will continue our fight to improve our microfinance,” she said.

This positive result results in particular from an increase in new members estimated at 388, an average deposit of 182,061 FCFA, loans estimated at 92,905,999 FCFA and a contribution from 240 borrowers, as well as financial deposits estimated at CFAF 551,098,034.

In total, the expenses were 47,681,757 FCFA for products made up to 64,548,828 FCFA. Faced with this reality, the members present gave their discharge to this assessment with loud cheers.

“The results are positive, the administrators have worked well. The members have given their discharge to continue the work in progress”, rejoiced the secretary general of the Board of Directors of this microfinance, Amon Kouassi Ernest.

However, it is necessary to educate the population about savings and make them aware of taking loans and repaying them, while supporting the CA in this work, suggested the head of control of this banking structure, Ms. Coulibaly.

The representative of the CMEC network of Côte d’Ivoire, Ms. Ouattara Bibiane took part in this meeting. This Bondoukou microfinance institution has been in existence for 23 years.
