Vacationers, cultural tourists, professionals from the art world and Beninese in the diaspora who were unable to visit the royal treasures and contemporary works can still do so from July 16 to August 28, 2022.

The exhibition “Art of Benin, yesterday and today, from restitution to revelation” reopens its doors from Saturday July 16 to Sunday August 28, 2022, according to a government press release dated June 21.

It will be a question of allowing vacationers, cultural tourists, professionals of the art world and Beninese of the diaspora to live a new experience through “guided tours led by cultural mediators, workshops of artistic practices for the young public, led by artists and animators, evening events bringing the Arts of the Word into dialogue with the Visual Arts, online reservations to offer a qualitative and immersive experience”.

The exhibition which took place from February 20 to May 22, 2022 at the Presidency of the Republic saw nearly 200,000 visitors in 40 days. It was decided to reopen it certainly because of the enthusiasm aroused with the public.
